In English this week we've started learning the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We made a story map to help us learn it really well and we acted it out using stick puppets. Miss Daley filmed us with the iPad.

In maths we've been learning about multiplication, we've been practising counting in multiples of 2, 3, 5 and 10 and are starting to count backwards in these multiples too! This week we've been using arrays to help us solve times or 'groups of' number sentences.

In Geography we added our symbols onto a blank map of Stogumber, hopefully next week we're going to use them to do a treasure hunt!

In Science next week we are going to do an experiment to find out the best way to build a bridge out of just paper so this week we planned how to make it a fair test.

Good News! We have decided to name our African land snails Green Eggs and Ham to go with our new reading corner which now has some lovely cosy bean bags and pillows.
