Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium funding is allocated to schools for children from low income families who are currently eligible for free school meals or have been eligible in the last six years.  The funding is used to support children who may be vulnerable to underachievement.  Schools are free to plan how best to use the money in their individual settings.

- We deliver quality teaching in order to meet the needs of all children

- We plan appropriate provision for children who belong to vulnerable groups and assess the needs of socially disadvantaged children on an individual basis

- We recognise that not all children who receive the funding will be socially disadvantaged and not all children who may be disadvantage are on free school meals.  Therefore we employ flexibility to support any child who we feel is socially disadvantage and should be making better progress.
