Stogumber Primary School

Small and friendly, we at Stogumber Primary School pride ourselves on our hard working, creative and caring atmosphere. Our small class sizes enable us to know our children really well, so we can teach to their strengths and learning styles.

The children feel individually valued and each knows that they are an important part of our school community. We aim for our children to leave Stogumber as happy, well rounded, confident and enthusiastic life-long learners.

Whilst building strong foundations in Literacy, Numeracy and Science we deliver a creative, balanced curriculum that aims to inspire pro-active learners.

We are fortunate to be situated in a beautiful and generous village that supports our learning outside the classroom.

The children learn through activities in the school garden, village shop, local walks and visits, and the hugely popular Summer Forest School. Come and visit – we’d love to meet you!

Stogumber CE VC Primary School was last inspected in 2011.

You can find the report on the Ofsted website at the following address:

www.ofsted.gov.uk

The Government publish league tables for parents to show how schools compare to each other. Because we have small cohorts of children most of our data is not included in their calculations. The page can be found Here

Church schools undergo SIAS inspections following Ofsted inspections. You will find our SIAS report in this section of the website too.
