Back in school, and after a morning's work on our google classroom activities, Mrs Phillips, Mr Wedderkopp and Dawn took us out for a watercolour walk down to Broad Meadow. We are getting better at staying within our bubbles and still enjoying each other's company, and an afternoon walk is an excellent way to catch up on stories.
In a corner of Broad Meadow Mrs Phillips explained how to create an impression of a landscape, using shades, swathes and blobs of watercolour. We had fun trying to mix all the greens that were laid out before us.
Under the hot sun we just had time for some fun in the stream before drying our feet and returning to school in time to be collected.
