This week in Robin Class we have had a lot of fun!
In Maths we have been drawing part, whole models and writing number sentences to go with them. We have also learnt how to use a place value chart.
In Literacy we have been learning a sound collector poem and have collected our own sounds around the school to use in our own poem.
In History we are learning about Kings and Queens; we put them on a timeline this week.
In Science we went for a walk around the village. We collected different types of leaves and found some chestnuts and conkers - we'll be trying to identify them next week.
On Thursday we visited Pixford Fruit Farm to pick the apples from our trees. We collected so many and had to carry the heavy boxes back to the mini bus!
On Friday we made crumble with the apples! We helped to peel and chop the apples and weigh the ingredients. We all tried some - It was delicious! Apparently better than ASDA's own!!!
Our spelling words this week are words beginning with the 'wr' sounds. See how many you can spot this weekend.
