The School Council comprises 2 children from each year group elected by their peers. They have regular meetings where they discuss a range of issues concerning their school family, village community and the wider community. The key role is for the children to have a voice and they represent the rest of the school to allow that voice to be heard.

On Thursday 10th October 2024 we celebrated World Mental Health Day by joining in with 'Hello Yellow' celebrations and raising funds for Youngminds.
On Friday 18th October 2024 the school council visited Williton Library. They found out how the library organise their books, what the local libraries can offer children and families and have organised for each class to have a library visit next half term!
Supporting and Raising Awareness of Charities:
The school council wish to support a charity each term. This term they have chosen to support 'Burning Nights' a charity that support individuals with CRPS. This charity has been chosen as it supports a family within our school community. The school council hosted a cake sale on Friday 25th October after school to raise funds for the charity.
